Reflection

Some lessons about strength arrive through people you never expected to teach them.

Some people
talk about Heaven
like it’s a place far away.

Somewhere beyond clouds,
beyond reach,
beyond this life.

But sometimes
Heaven walks among us first.

Not loud.
Not asking to be noticed.

Just carrying a kind of light
the rest of us
are still learning to understand.

A quiet strength
in a small frame,
a courage
older than the years it lived in.

The kind of strength
that doesn’t shout.

The kind that moves quietly
through hard days
like it already knows
something the world
hasn’t figured out yet.

I used to think
Heaven was only somewhere you go.

Now I know
sometimes she visits.

Sometimes she shows up
in the middle of life
and reminds you
what courage looks like.

What patience looks like.

What real strength looks like
when nobody’s watching.

And maybe that’s the lesson.

Maybe Heaven isn’t only
a place waiting for us.

Maybe sometimes
Heaven comes here first
to leave a mark
on the people
who needed to see it.

And once you’ve seen it,

you never look at life
the same way again.
